kickoff FOCUS was rockin tonight!!!!! 75 people in attendance, which is cool. They band flat out kicked it. It's one of the best services I've led in a while. Energy was high. It is a different dynamic leading on keys than it is on guitar. You're even more restricted spacewise than you are with a guitar. I need to expirement leading without an instrument, maybe with a wireless mic. But, ultimate that limits you in other ways. Like any of you even care. But, I think I am officially adding keyboard to the list of instruments I play. Honestly, I think I'm just as proficent on keys as I am on guitar, which isn't saying a whole lot. I think I have been for a while now. Its interesting though, because I haven't really felt that I was good enough to play keys in worship, but have never hesitated about playing guitar. I don't know . . . anyway, I think there is more to be said, but I'm so tired . . . I realized tonight that I am too old to rock. Kinda like the Stones and U2. It happens to all of us. posted
