    2 weeks

That's quite a long drought for this blog. Especially considering that in my last post I would be writing a lot about all that I learned at jubilee. And really, I intended to. I find that I get 2 types of writer's block. There is the kind where I have nothing to write about, and then there is the kind that I have too much to write about. Honestly, I like the first kind better. In those moments, when I have nothing to say, and quite often it ends up being quite entertaining. When I have too much to write about, that's when I end up writing about nothing. Those moments when I think I have something important on my mind, but I can't quite make it coherent. That's been my state over the last couple of weeks. In those moments, I end up writing nothing, because I think I have too much to say to waste it on some silly post. But, then I can't get the thoughts on the page.

In my defense, I've tried a couple of times, but at some point, each post got a little too personal to be posting on my website. That is something that I don't often have a problem with, but I want to have my thoughts a little more coherent before subjecting myself to that kind of vulnerability.

With all of that said, I am convinced that those of us involved in ministry at UC will be a part of something truely amazing sometime in the future. When? I don't know. However, I have seen a lot of peices coming together.

Some other random thoughts from the past couple of weeks:

I am becoming addicted to Baked Lays.

I'm not a huge fan of violence, but 24 would just be a horrible show without it.

I just wrapped up a mini spring break, and I feel great. And it was good to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew. I kind of like Tennesee. I wouldn't mind living there someday.

I bought an R.L. Burnside cd last week. I really like it. It's my first cd with profanity, though.

Lately, I've really felt the need to be in full time vocational ministry.

Lately, hanging out with college students has made me feel old. In a good way. But still, it's hit me several times.

At first, I thought Kentucky was overseeded with an 8. But, after looking over who was under them, I think it was just about right.

UC fans have given me crap for years. I gave them crap to retaliate, to the point that I started to dislike UC. Lately, I've been okay with UC, but still annoyed with the fans. With all that said, I think what happened to UC yesterday was ridiculous, and I feel for the team and the fans.

I think this is far and away the worst bracket I've ever seen since I really started following the selection process (circa 1992).

Today I saw a bumper sticker that said, "What would Scooby do?" It made me chuckle.

I liked the movie "Second Chance." It definately had some stuff that didn't work (ie the ending), but overall they got their message across. Michael W. Smith was suprisingly good, but jeff carr carried the film.

    That is all. Goodnight!
