the truth about the golden girls Tonight I was hanging out with Ed, my roommate. Through a series of events that involved websites such as jumptheshark.com, we learned that Estelle Geddy, who played Sophia on the Golden Girls is in fact a couple of months younger than Bea Arthur, who plays her daughter. Ed was so shocked that he called Tommy, and then called his mom. It turns out that his mom already knew. Ed was upset that she never told him. After that, we made a fashionably late appearance at the STE party. I guess I'm just too old for that sort of thing (plus I'm a horrible dancer). And, the person I hoped to see there wasn't there. But, there was some fun to be had. posted
