1. Kentucky got Randolph Morris. That makes 3 McD's All-Americans in this recuriting class (Plus another top 30 guy, AND Patrick Sparks.) I was so excited, I had to celebrate with a Big-Mac value meal (I guess that sponsership worked out for McD's).
2. Ryan Seacrest. Where did this guy come from. A few years ago, nobody knew who he was. And now, he's got American Idol, On-Air, and Casey's top 40! I'm not complaining or anything. It's just kind of intriguing. He's not overly talented, but he's not bad either. Anyway, has there ever been a more obvious pseudonym than "Seacrest"? Okay, maybe Hugh Jackman. Which actually is kind of clever. Most of the time, such names seem innocent but then you find some innuendo (ie Ben Dover). But Hugh Jackman is the opposite. You see that name and are sure there is some innuendo in there. But, upon further review, you find out that there is not. Good stuff.
3. I've been listening to some talk radio and watching some news coverage of this POW issue. It just amazes me at how flippant some people are about this. I caught the end of the O'Reily Factor last night, the part where he reads off viewer emails. It just amazed me. Apparantly, O'Reily came down hard on this issue. And these people were accusing him of a. overreacting or b. bringing down the president. And Sean Hannity, who I usually have a lot of respect for, pretty much dismissed this whole episode. It's troubling how some these people are trying to dismiss this because it might make Bush look bad. Anyway, I'm just upset over this.
4. Playing around with Live Journal. If nothing else, I can now sign other live journals with ease. I might come up with a fun use for it. But, I think I'm sticking with the blog. Maybe I should check out xanga. But I've never been impressed with xanga's sites. Plus, LJ and XANGA are so elitist. Not the users, the hosts.
5. Another reason you gotta love living in Kentucky.
6. When all you all day long is sit around and read friends journals and blogs, it gets frustrating when they don't update. I'm not complaining. Really, it's more of a commentary on my life than it is on the people who aren't updating.
