Storms, Angst, and Postmodernity
It's storm season. I love storm season!!!!!!! 1. Well . . . in the ongoing saga that is the job search, I was supposed to have a phone interview last night. And the guy never called. Really, I don't know what to think anymore. 2. I've been trying to re-learn Greek. Does that make me a loser??? I mean, I've been out of school for a year now. I think I'm going to try and learn Visual Basic or SQL. I know that makes me a geek. 3. It just occured to me today that the Theme from Diff'rent Strokes is a good theme song for post-modernism. 4. I get an actual paid holiday on Monday. That's pretty cool. I'm taking the following Monday off. That's 2 4-day work weeks. A lazy man's dream. 5. I think I am adopting the Pistons as my team for the NBA Playoffs. I still have loyaties to Tayshaun Prince. posted
