Monday Monday
1. The trip to Cincinnati was cool. It was a very encouraging weekend. I got to play with the worship team at UCC, which was a lot of fun. I was quite rusty though, and made a ton of mistakes. But, everyone was pretty gracious about it. The program at the banquet was great. It was great seeing the vision that I help form for the ministry come to fruition. It was good catching up with friends. All in all, it was just a good weekend.
2. Sealab 2021 may well be the funniest 15 minutes on TV.
3. My horse came in 2nd to last. I lost 10 dollars. Then again, that's what I get for playing a 30-1 longshot.
4. All of the sudden, I can't escape the band Jet. This weekend, I read this article about them. Someone actually said they are saving rock and roll. That's a nice piece of hyperbole. But, I was impressed by part of the article. One thing that really struck me is how they don't cover up thier musical flaws with some of the industry tricks available. I have a lot of respect for that. I still don't like their music. Maybe I'll give them another shot.
5. I took a little quiz on the internet. According to the results, I am a 7th Day Adventist. Which is quite interesting, considering the fact that I go to church on SUNDAY instead of SATURDAY! Look like the quiz missed a vital point.
