American Idol. . . Band Edition
They need to do an American Idol for bands. That way, Blue Team can make its comeback. Simon will make fun of us, but I think Paula and Randy will really dig our sound. In the first episode, we can do our rousing rendition of "Brown Eyed Girl." That will cause all the female viewer to like us. Plus, our version has a harmonica.
Over the weeks, America could become aquainted with our covers of Sweet Home Alabama, Heart of Gold, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Long Day, and others. At some point, we would even throw in our infamous O Suzzana to the tune of 500 miles.
Then, on the final episode, we would break out the big gun . . . Bad Day.
Then, we get a contact. And groupies. Sweet.
Then I would be able to get a boat. And I could have a party on it. And all of you would be invited.
Then I could be cool again. Just like the good ole days. I hate getting old. Okay, so it really doesn't bother me. But still . . . I was hot for 6 months. But, I didn't work my mojo. So, it left me.
Bill Ekhardt is my hero. So is John Wentz. And Kevin . . . and Justin Sanford.
But my biggest hero . . .
. . . Erik Estrada.
