A String of Unrelated Thoughts

1. This weekend, I'm missing Weird Al to go to a wedding. Where the heck are my priorities.

2. I'm getting sick of all of the war/terrorism/9-11 coverage. I just don't know what to think about it anymore. Every aspect has become so politicized. I just don't trust anyone on either side of it. Maybe more on this later.

3. It's BASEBALL time again!! I'm more excited about the start of this season than I have been for a while. Not sure why. The Giants are a mess right now: the ace and closer both on the DL, and the Barry Bonds steriod thing kinda bums me out.

4. Been reading through the prophets. Hard core stuff. It really gives you a picture of what issues are important to God (which ironicly are not the priorities of the American church these days.)

5. These t-shirts are hilarious.

6. Dangerous Wonder and Messy Spirituality by Mike Yaconelli. I highly recommend both.

7. Has there ever been better use of a fiddle in a Rock song than in "Come On Eileen?"

8. I watch too much TV. I need a social life. I can't stay up past midnight. I can't sleep past 8:30. It all adds up to one thing. I'm getting old.

9. There is not a funnier show on right now than Chappell's Show. This show should be getting a lot more hype than it is.

10. The whole ministry search thing is at a critical point. According to the timelines given by a few of them, interviews should be starting soon, but so far, no contacts. It's nerveracking.

And that's all for now.
