Bitterness and Stuff
Got a rejection letter yesterday from a campus ministry at Kent State. This one may be my favorite of all time. I got rejected (not even an interview) because I have changed jobs to many times over the last few years! Seriously. They are looking for someone who has "shown the ability to focus on one task over a period of time." Interesting. I can see how that might be important. What frustrates me is that I was focused on a task for that entire period of time: school. Arrrrrrr. It's time for a new line of work. Anyone know of someone who is hiring a mattress tester. On to the friday list: 1. Heard on ABC Family last night: "He's stealing home!!! The JET is stealing home!!!!" What a great movie. 2. How I have had my blog up for nearly 2 weeks without puting a link for yourethemannowdog.com, well, that's just inexcusable. 3. On a brighter note, I have a tentatively scheduled interview with Pittsburg State University, Kansas in about a week. 4. I promise, my blogs aren't always going to be lists. Well, maybe they will be!! Nobody reads it anyway. Well, at least nobody comments. Kevin does, and sometimes John, but nobody else. Okay, I comment sometimes, but really, does that even count. 5. One thing I've learned by starting this blog: I'm too lazy to be a journalist. I considered it for a while in college, and have thought about it often since then. If I had to do this with a deadline, I'd be in big trouble. posted
